She is also a Reiki Master with Usui Shiki Ryoho, through the Usui System of Natural Healing. Practicing Reiki since January of 2003, She became a Reiki Master in October of 2005. In June of 2008, Barb became an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church (headquarted in Modesto, CA) and is able to perform various ceremonies combined with the Reiki Energy.

She truly believes that massage is an integral part of staying healthy. She also utilizes reiki and angelic toning which can be part of the massage session or a separate session. The Jared Teel Music Program is a music program that is partnered between Spitzer Sound Stage, Valley Children's Hospital, Rick & Regina Teel and volunteer artists/musicians that provide music at the Children's Hospital in memory of 5 year old Jared Teel.
They need help in purchasing and donating musical instruments for children to practice on while they are in the hospital, people who are entertainers who wouldlike to donate their time and perform for the children and help with fundraising and/or other areas where help is needed.
